Description
Sunny yellow mums brighten a foggy fall day in the Pacific Northwest. One of my favorite fall flowers… Chrysanthemums, sometimes called mums or chrysanths, are flowering plants. Chrysanthemums were first cultivated in China as a flowering herb as far back as the 15th century BC. They are native to Asia and northeastern Europe. Modern cultivated chrysanthemums are showier than their wild relatives. The flower heads occur in various forms, and can be daisy-like or decorative.
